ISCM 2011
From July 1 until July 7 the International Summer School on Communication and Media (ISCM) with the working title “Media Knowledge Society” is taking place in the Aula/Campus of the University of Vienna. 60 participants, nine countries and 12 universities and a board of mentors with 12 Professors are the impressive numbers of the ISCM 2011.
The ISCM 2011 is the first of its kind and will be hold each year in a different country.

Confirmation of Participation
The first phase of the ISCM 2011, Knowledge – Media – Society has finished. Thank you very much for the numerous applications and interesting abstracts. All applicants should by now have received an e-mail (either with a confirmation or disaffirmation of participation). Application Form Online
It is now possible to submit you application (incl. your abstract) for the ISCM 2011 online. Of course it is still possible to send your application via e-mail (andreas.prummer ( at ) univie.ac.at) and all applications already sent remain valid. To avoid spam you need to register first (here), before you can submit the application (application form).

Call for Applications
Call for participation in the International Summer School on Media and Communication Vienna 2011:
All students researching in frame of Master or PHD work on any topic that matches the overall perspective of the interrelation of KNOWLEDGE , MEDIA, AND SOCIETY are kindly invited to apply for participation with a submission of an abstract until February 15, 2011. The call is open to all interested students of cooperating universities/faculties as well as to the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences of University of Vienna, especially from the Department of Communication.
